My Alternative Yarn Suggestions & Amounts: Illustrious Naturals DK One 100g hank, or Mohair Tweed 1(2:2) 50g ball(s).

Needles: 3.75mm and 4mm needles.

Tension: 22 stitches and 44 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch using 4mm needles.

Sizes, to fit (suggested): newborn, baby, child.

My design ideas and advice: This hat is knitted using one of my favourite cable patterns – what I call the honeycomb as it reminds me of bees and honey. The circles also make me think of the circle of life or even circles of joy!
