Lockdown 3 (& Where We Are)
So…..it's Lockdown 3 which means the Skipton Studio is closed. However the website is very much open and you can order online for download patterns or for yarn. If you order yarn and a pattern then I can send you a printed pattern too.
The website uses Paypal, it is very easy and secure to use. However if you don't want to have a Paypal account you don't need one to use it. It sometimes asks you to set up a Paypal account to continue but if you press refresh it should not do it the next time.
However if you wish to pay by credit/debit card and not use Paypal then you are very welcome to and that is also easy and secure to do!
If you email me we can arrange a time when I am in the studio and I can call you (or you can call me) at a convenient time and we can sort out the order and payment over the phone.
You may also email me to arrange a time to phone if you would like to talk to me about any pattern or yarn you'd like to order. I have designed all the patterns and have knitted or crocheted with all the yarns so am very familiar with all the ranges and can help you with any question.
I'm here to help, either by email or by phone.
If you wish to collect any order from the Skipton studio this is also possible - just write in the notes section when ordering online or again by emailing and we can arrange a time for collection from the Skipton Studio.
Thank you so much for your support and understanding during these unprecedented times.
(After Lockdown) Opening Times
Tuesdays to Saturdays :: 10.30am - 4.30pm
Closed Sundays & Mondays for workshops.
When visiting the Skipton Studio please be aware of the rules in line with the government guidelines.
*Please wear a face covering.
*Please observe the 2m rule. There is enough room in the studio and outside to easily follow the social distancing rule.
*There is hand sanitiser available. Please use this if you wish to touch the yarns.
Purl & Jane is hidden away behind the shops at the top of the High Street.
To find us, if travelling up the High Street, go to the top of the High Street towards Skipton Castle and the Holy Trinity Church, keep on the left hand side, go past the Black Horse Pub.
Look out for the white and red front of Hettie’s Cafe Bistro and next to them is a ginnel (this is Yorkshire dialect and means passageway) the other side of this ginnel is Alexander’s so if you’ve walked past Alexander’s turn around and go back through the passageway next to it.
Through this ginnel you’ll see Purl & Jane at the end of the courtyard.
