Leighton Jacket Pattern

£4.50

Leighton Jacket with or without hood version.
This single pattern is available as a download.

My design ideas and advice: This simple garter stitch jacket is great for new knitters or for those coming back to knitting and want to try out their skills on a simple easy pattern. Why? Because this jacket’s back is just a square. Yep, all you are knitting is a square and also another bonus is that there aren’t any stitches to pick up, woohoo! (with this in mind, make sure the front edges are neat and join in any new balls at the side seams.)
There is a tiny bit of shaping at the neck, again, the basic decreases while on the sleeves there is the basic increase stitches.
This pattern has the option to knit it with or without the hood.

Love this jacket and wish it came in an adult size? It does! I designed Halyard in Simple Knits especially for those who wished the Leighton Jacket was not just in child sizes!
