Description

MY DESIGN IDEAS AND ADVICE
This hat is knitted in my favourite stitch and simply shaped into a classic baby hat. I originally designed it for new knitters ready to move on from squares or scarves – it’s ideal for practising new skills. The pattern is worked straight for most of the way, and then you’ll learn how to decrease over the final few rows.

For more experienced knitters, it’s the perfect weekend project. And for everyone, it’s a thoughtful, heartwarming gift – a cosy hat in a favourite shade of beautiful yarn, ready to keep little ones snug and happy.

CONSTRUCTION
Knitted flat in one piece from the bottom up with one seam.

TECHNIQUES USED
Cast on, knit, decreasing.

GAUGE (tension)
