My design ideas and advice: This sleeveless top is knitted from the bottom up and in the round. It is a lovely one to start you ‘knitting in the round’ journey. It doesn’t have any stitches to pick up either so a really simple, easy to knit pattern which, in the Mohair Tweed Nathrach shade, adds colour with jewel like twinkles to your wardrobe.
For experienced knitters this is a fab knit that you can sit and relax with, there is a knit round and then next round there is a little bit of detail with the knit and purl stitches. It’s one of my favourite rib details that you will find in several of my patterns.
For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts: 6(6:7:7:8:9:9) 50g balls of Mohair Tweed (70% merino/30% mohair, 110m/120yds per 50g)
Needles: 3.75mm and 4mm.
Gauge (tension): 20 stitches and 15 rows to 10cm/4ins square over pattern using 4.5mm needle.
