Heaton Tank Top Pattern

My design ideas and advice: It is always difficult to try and explain how much you love something into words on a machine. This is a classic ‘Jane Ellison’ stitch pattern. I just love this rib pattern so much and it works os well in this tank top. This is simple crew neck tank top that uses the same stitch pattern as Ravenscar Jumper and Hubberholme Child’s Jumper. It is one of my favourite stitch patterns as a lovely relaxing knit.

Unisex, great for male or female bodies. Knitted in pieces from the bottom up. Knit and purl stitches.

For this pattern I used:

Yarn & Amounts: 3(3:4:4:5) 100g hanks of The Croft Shetland Aran (100% Shetland Island Wool, 166m/182yds per 100g)

Needles: 4.5mm and 5mm.

Gauge (tension): 19 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm/4ins square over wide rib pattern using 5mm needles.
