My design ideas and advice: This lovely little jumper with a polo neck is perfect for beginners. It is in an aran weight yarn which means there are less stitches to cast on than there would be with a dk weight yarn. It’s great for keeping little ones warm when running about outside in autumnal weather. The garter stitch is calming too, so the perfect way for the knitter to sit and relax after long days trying to keep up with their little ones! This jumper was original in my Knitted With Love book (out of print) and is now a single pattern.
And if you fancied a jumper to match baby then the Philippa Jumper is the same design but for adults!
