For this pattern I used:
Yarn: 14(15:16:17) 50g balls of Mohair Tweed (70% merino/30% mohair, 110m/120yds per 50g).
Needles: 3.75mm and 4mm.
Gauge (tension): 21 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm/4ins square over garter stitch rib using 4mm needles.
To Fit Chest (suggested)
Actual Chest Measurement
Length (from shoulder)
My design ideas and advice: This is one of my favourite ways to do rib – what I call a flat rib. One of my preferred stitch techniques – there is a row where you have to do a pattern (not a difficult one) and then there is a row where you can just relax with knit. This pattern is one of eight pattern that I designed to launch especially at Yarndale 2017 along with the Mohair Tweed which was also just launched that year. The yarn is spun in Donegal so I named all the patterns using Irish words, Leannan (pronounced Lan-awn) is the Irish word for lover or perfection in our hearts. I gave this jumper that name because this is my perfect jumper!
