My design ideas and advice: I designed this for gentlemen, but as always with all my designs they are great for all shapes and genders.
I love designing simple hand knits for male knitters and for knitters to knit garments for the males in their lives!
This is an updated and revised version of the Dorothy Jumper, which is more cropped and has a wider rib.
This Devon Jumper is perfect for lengthening or shortening to your ideal measurements. Or you can follow the pattern as is and therefore just sit back and relax with the soothing stocking stitch.
As with most of my patterns I’ve adding details that make the knitting enjoyable and create shape. And these little details make a big difference.
There is a kit available for this pattern, click here for more info.
For this pattern I used:

Needles: 3.75mm and 4mm.
Gauge (tension): 20 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm/4ins square over stocking stitch using 4mm needles.
