My design ideas and advice: This simple v neck jumper has raw edges, this means they are left as they are and there aren’t any stitches to pick up. The cuffs on the sleeves are roll back as it is what happens when you knit stocking stitch without doing any edges, like rib. I love the curl on the edge of the sleeves, I would just advise to be careful when measuring the length of the sleeve and measure it as it curls to get the correct length. This jumper was designed as a request from a mum knitting for her daughter. The daughter wanted a simple v neck with some detail at the edge of the front and back.
For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts: 4(5:5:6:6) 100g hanks of WYS Bluefaced Leicester DK – Undyed (100% BlueFaced Leicester Wool, 225m/246yds per 100g).
Metres: 890(990:1120:1235:1300)m.
Needles: 4mm.
Gauge (tension): 21 stitches and 27 rows to 10cm/4ins square over stocking stitch using 4mm needles.
