For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts: One 100g hank each of WYS Jacob Aran (100% British Jacob Wool, 166m/182yds per 100g) in shade A (shade 01 Natural Brown Black), shade B (shade 02 Natural Light Grey) and shade C (shade 03 Natural Grey).
Metres For Each Shade: Approx.160m.
Needles: 5mm.
Notions: Cushion pad to fit (approx. 40cm x 40cm).
Six buttons (size is approx. 30mm in diameter).
Gauge (tension): 18 stitches and 21 rows to 10cm square over pattern using 5mm needles.
Measurements: 40cm x approx. 86cm.
My design ideas and advice: I love, love, love the chevron stitch. I feel it is amazing especially when you add stripes then it’s magical! You are just working the row in different colours slipping stitches, making stitches as you go and before you know it you have a beautiful zig zag pattern.
