Bluem sock is a fingering weight yarn, worsted spun with a high twist making it perfect for socks. The Bluefaced Leicester yarn is a soft but resilient fibre and combined with a small amount of nylon, it creates the perfect fabric for socks.
Spun at a local mill to Lancaster and hand-dyed by Susan Crawford and her team at A Room Of My Own in a wide range of beautiful and varied shades.
Bluem Sock takes colour extremely well resulting in rich, semi-solid shades. The range of shades inspired by the landscape when Susan lived on a hillside farm, plus an ever changing selection of vintage inspired single coloured skeins.
Bluem Sock is a non-superwash yarn and should be washed by hand in cool water with a gentle wool wash.
