For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts: One 50g hank of 4 ply weight yarn.
Metres: Approx. 52m for newborn.
My Yarn Suggestion & Amounts: WYS Signature 4 Ply One 100g ball.
Tension: 28 stitches and 36 rows to 10cm square over lace pattern using 3.25mm needles.
Sizes: There are three sizes in this pattern – newborn, baby, child.
My design ideas and advice: I love the rib I used on this baby hat, so delicate just like baby. The Shelby Baby Hat is knitted flat. It is knitted in 4 ply weight yarn so lovely and light and when knitted in natural fibres it will keep baby at the perfect temperature. If you wanted to complete the outfit then Shelby Baby Jumper has the same rib detail and they both look cute on baby together!
