For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts: 1(1:2:2:2) 100g hanks of WYS Bluefaced Leicester DK – Undyed (100% British BlueFaced Leicester Wool, 225m/246yds per 100g) in shade A (01 Natural Ecru), shade B (02 Natural Light Brown) and shade C (03 Natural Brown).
Metres for each shade: 220(220:360:400:440)m.
My Alternative Yarn Suggestions & Amounts: WYS Illustrious Naturals DK 1(1:2:2:2) 100g hanks each of three shades or Mohair Tweed 2(2:3:4:4) 50 balls each of three shades.
Needles: 3.75mm and 4mm.
Tension: 20 stitches and 38 rows to 10cm/4ins square over ridge striped pattern using 4mm needles.

My design idea and advice: This simple striped jumper really puts the jump in jumper! The ridges seem to bounce up and down as.. I imagine…the young wearer jumps about in piles of autumn leaves. There are a few things to keep in mind when knitting this: when measuring the length, don’t stretch it too much…but do bear in mind it will drop a little after washing. Also this garment is designed to be very oversized.
