My design ideas and advice: This tank top uses one of my favourite colourwork stitch patterns. It’s magical! You only use one colour in the row but it looks like you are using two. I’ve knitted a version of this tank top with my stash. I used the same colour for shade A through out but changed the colour of shade B every time, which is a great way to use up those bits of stash you love but can’t throw out.
This pattern is one of eight pattern that I designed to launch especially at Yarndale 2017 using Mohair Tweed which was also just launched that year. The yarn is spun in Donegal so I named all the patterns using Irish words, Cara (KA-ra) is the Irish word for friend, our connection to one another. I feel this explains this stitch technique, each colour is running long the row yet connecting to each other.
