There is a kit available for this scarf  here.

My design ideas and advice: This is a great scarf for a beginner to learn to knit with as well as change shades to create stripes. It is also a super quick project for an experienced knitter, something to relax and switch off with after a busy day or to ease the chatter in the mind.

All you need to know to knit this scarf is how to cast on, how to do the knit stitch and how to cast off. I’ve included the videos I’ve made on these techniques to help you.

For this pattern I used:

Yarn & Amounts: One 100g ball each of Purl &Jane Supermerino (100% merino wool, 100g/65m/71yds) in shade A and shade B.

Needles: 9mm.

Gauge (tension):  10 stitches and 18 rows to 10cm/4ins square over garter stitch using 9mm needles.

Measurements:  approx. 12cm wide x 140cm long for narrow and long version OR
approx. 18cm wide x 100cm long for wide and short version
