My design ideas and advice: I love granny squares. So easy and fun to crochet and I wanted to do something a little bit different with them. I love the idea of a granny square blanket and there are lots of ways to create a blanket, even with theses squares. However I also love the idea of taking something traditional and giving it a different feel, so this is my idea using the inspiration of a granny square! Enjoy!

For this pattern I used:

Yarn & Amounts: Two 50g balls each of Chunky Weight Yarn in shade A, shade B and shade C.

Metres for each shade: 124m.

Hook : 7mm.

Size: One square is approx. 10cm x 10cm.
Finished measurements of cowl are 20cm wide by 120cm long.
