The 12 days of Christmas

Oh my… I have been sharing so much on social and in the newsletter that I momentarily forgot about the blog… I am so sorry to my lovely readers. What was I thinking?!

I was so happy that I’d actually organised myself and managed to do the 12 Days of Christmas for the… uh oh… 11 days… eek! (I’ve sorted that out on Instagram/Facebook now.). I just keep reminding myself that to make something perfect, there has to be one mistake in it. Another quote I often remember is about being ready for something – you never really are, so you just have to do it and fix the little hiccups as they come.

I say this to peeps who pop into the Skipton Studio and tell me they’ll knit “when they’re better at it”. I always say: to get better at knitting, you have to knit. Just do it! Don’t worry about the hiccups.

Have you signed up to the Purl &Jane newsletter? I don’t usually send out 12 newsletters over 12 days (and I *did* manage it with the newsletters – it was just the Instagram/Facebook post I missed!), but here is the full round-up of the 12 Days of Christmas to share with you…

What a joyful 12 days it’s been! I’ve absolutely loved sharing these patterns with you – from cosy hats to classic jumpers, everyday cardigans to festive knits that feel like a warm hug. Whether you’ve been following along each day or dipping in and out when you needed a little inspiration, here’s a round-up of all the patterns we’ve explored together.

Each one has its own story, its own rhythm and its own little touch of Purl &Jane magic. I hope you find something here that makes your needles – and your heart – happy.

This week’s joy

The start of the year…
