My design ideas and advice: The Sandhills Tank Top is knitted from the bottom up and in the round with no side seams. And there aren’t any stitches to pick up either. Sometimes I love an easy project to just sit back and relax with and let those soothing stitches do the work.
This tank top was the perfect antidote fr a stressful few weeks, just so lovely to pick up and put down and not worry about where you are.
For some of you this is a fab knit that can be knitted in a week or two. For others it’s a great one to plan for next summer, imagining keeping cool in this knitted top.
For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts: 2(3:3:4:4:5) 100g balls of Zauberball Crazy Cotton (available in the studio ad will be online soon!) for short version.
5(5:6:6:7:7) 50g balls of merino cotton for long version.
Needles: 3.75mm knitting needles.
4mm knitting needles (80cm length for first three sizes & 100cm for last two sizes)
Gauge (tension): 20 stitches and 34 rows to 10cm/4ins square over pattern using 4mm needles.
