My design ideas and advice: I was inspired by the trend for boyfriend cardigans for this design. I love looking at what people wear, what we called street culture when I was as fashion college, and I love vintage patterns. This design was inspired by research in both of those areas. I wanted a simple v neck cardigan, as other knitters that popped into my Skipton studio wanted too, that was great for men and woman. One knitter came in for the pattern and yarn to knit herself this cardigan then popped back in a few days later as her husband had requested one too!
Oh and I almost forgot to mention – the best bit about this long v neck cardigan – no neck edges to pick up, I included the edging, love it!!
