My design ideas and advice: This jumper is a great simple shape that fits all sizes and genders perfectly. In fact it was a request for more gentlemen jumpers that led me to design this garment. It is an easy knit that is great for beginners but just my favourite type of knitting for experienced knitters. I call these simple shapes ‘refresher” knitting for experienced knitters. Or ‘amuse bouche’ which are appetisers used between main courses in fancy restaurants. They literally mean mouth amuser in French. I always believed they were palette cleansers to get you ready for your next taste sensation. So for experienced knitters that is how I feel my knitting is like, some mindless knitting before you start another complicated fairisle or cable. This jumper is Rhi, the work experience student, first choice of garment after knitting her scarf. She’s addicted and ready to knit her first garment already!
