MY DESIGN IDEAS AND ADVICE
Like with knitting, sometimes an experienced crocheter just wants some mindless, calming crochet. And for a beginner, it’s lovely to have a simple pattern to practise those double crochets until they feel just right.
When I was learning, I quickly discovered that the yarn makes all the difference between pleasure and frustration! The yarn I chose for this scarf was sublime – perfect to crochet with and soft as butter to wear.
This short scarf uses just one hank, so it’s a brilliant way to try out a new yarn and fall in love with it. Or, if you’re looking at your stash, it’s perfect for using up those odd balls. Of course, you can also add more yarn and make a longer scarf if you wish.
