My design ideas and advice: My design ideas and advice: This is one of my favourite hat patterns, just because I love knitting with this yarn and because it is chunky it knits up quickly. There is something giving about this Soft Donegal. It is made traditionally in Donegal and this I love, it is soft which is perfect for a hat and I feel it bounces, there is something about it that makes it feel bouncy in my hands – like soft fluffy clouds.
