This how to is how to pattern across the 2nd needle after you’ve turned the heel and picked up your stitches.

A lot of hand knit patterns while tell you to “work” or “pattern” stitches this is because by this point in the pattern you will, hopefully, know where you are I the pattern and be able to work the stitches as presented. If that seems all a little strange I’ve shown what this means for the Gael Sock.
