Skills needed: You will need to know how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off.

This workshop covers striping, slip stitch technique (my favourite type of colourwork because it is so simple yet so effective), intarsia and the basic techniques used in fairisle. Everything you need to make colourwork fun!

Skills learnt: All the techniques for you to confidently go forward with all types of colour work. We start off with striping and carrying yarns up, then slip stitch or mosaic colourwork, and finally the fun of Intarsia and fairisle.

Materials included in cost: Gorgeous yarn and pattern.

Materials to bring: 4mm and 5mm knitting needles. Scissors.

Refreshments are not included: During these current times and to keep the cost the same as the last few years please bring with you your own refreshments of hot drinks and lunch. Most peeps bring a flask with them and a packed lunch but there is time to get a takeaway at lunchtime & feel free to bring a takeaway coffee into the class.
