My design ideas and advice: These are something that have been on my list to design for years. I love the idea of the brightly coloured yarn popping out over the top of your trainers or brogues, depending on where you are going and how you like to wear your socks and shoes!

This ridge pattern is another favourite stitch of mine….I’ve knitted it on my Tra Socks, which uses a DK weight yarn as well as the Tra Mittens, as well as the Lee Scarf and Sedgwick Jumper for an adult and Danny Brow Jumper for a child….to name a few!

I named them Styx because she was the mother of the Goddess Nike and I am going to wear my Styx socks in my trainers!
