For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts: Two 50g balls of Soft Donegal (100% Merino Wool, 63m/68yds per 50g).
Needles: 6mm needles.
Gauge (tension): 14 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm square over garter stitch using 6mm needles.
Size: to fit all head sizes.
My design ideas and advice: This was designed for my Learn To Knit class so is perfect for beginners. It is also great for experienced knitters or just for a weekend project. One experienced knitter even told me that she knitted it in an evening! It is simple garter stitch hat that looks good on all heads! You can wear it as a beanie or you can have a brim on it but turning the edge up.
