Hook: 5mm.

Tension: 15 trebles and 12 rows in pattern to 10cm square over pattern using 5mm hook.

Measurements: 26cm x 33cm approximately.

My design ideas and advice: The original yarn for this pattern was Skipton Swaledale, the second exclusive Purl and Jane Yorkshire yarn. It had limited availability and is now not available but there are lots of other yarns to choose from! Each yarn has unique qualities that made them very individual. I’ve always dreamt of designing a simple crochet bag to carry my knitting or crochet projects in and, when Skipton Swaledale came back from the spinners, I knew it was the perfect yarn for this design idea. I’ve since crocheted another one in Jacob Aran and then did a colourful one in the Kilcarra Tweed. They are addictive!
