For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts: One 100g hank each of WYS Illustrious Naturals DK in shade A (shade 036 Slate), shade B (shade 034 Pebble) and shade C (shade 838 Pewter).
Metres for each shade: 225m.
My Alternative Yarn Suggestions & Amounts: WYS Bluefaced Leicester DK – Undyed, One 100g hank each in three shades or Kilcarra Tweed, Two 50g balls each in three shades.
Needles: 4mm.
Gauge (tension): 28 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm square over chevron pattern using 4mm needles.
Measurements: approx. 38cm x approx. 112cm long.
My design ideas and advice: I love a chevron, it is one of my favourite stitch techniques especially when combined with a three shade stripe. So simple yet so stunning! This scarf uses one hank of each of the three shades and creates a snug cowl. I am going to knit another one using two hanks of the three shades….unless someone else does before me!
