My design ideas and advice: I could get so addicted to knitting this blanket pattern. I love a simple square. It’s enough to knit in an evening or a weekend, depending on the time you can dedicate to knitting, and that’s enough to make you feel good! And after you’ve knitted the squares you can play aroudn with how you knit them together. This is the one I settled on but there were a few other versions that I could have gone with. I hope you have fun arranging your squares!
This pattern is one of eight pattern that I designed to launch especially at Yarndale 2017  The yarn is I named all the patterns using Irish words, Baile (BAL-yeh) is the Irish word for place or home. The perfect name for a blanket that makes you feel at home wherever you are.

*the yarn I used for this pattern has been discontinued (a 2020 pandemic casualty) and so I’ve suggested the yarn above as an excellent substitute. I’ve helped visitors to my studio pick shades in this yarn for this pattern and it looked fab!
