My design ideas and advice:This scarf is garter stitch with a little tiny detail at the edge to make it special. It is knitted “straight up” yet the way the stitches are increasing and decreasing it gives it a triangle shape. So much fun! And so many peeps that pop into the Purl &Jane Studio think the edging is added on after knitting, it isn’t, it’s done as you knit.
This pattern is one of eight pattern that I designed to launch especially at Yarndale 2017 along with the Mohair Tweed which was also just launched that year. The yarn is spun in Donegal so I named all the patterns using Irish words, Dóchas (pronounced DOE-hass) is the Irish word for hope.
