For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts: One 100g hank of dk weight yarn.
Needles: Set of four double pointed 3.75mm needles.
Gauge (tension): 24 stitches and 32 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch using 3.75mm needles.
Measurements: to fit UK size 4-6 but will fit all foot lengths when knitted to the desired length as indicated in the pattern.
My design ideas and advice: I designed these socks years and years ago, before I had my Skipton studio, when the original yarn I used was discontinued I updated the pattern so that it can be knitted in another yarn…which was also discontinued by the manufacturer! I have now re-knitted them in another yarn that, fingers crossed will not be discontinued! You can see what I’ve used in the Skipton Studio as that yarn isn’t on the website yet.
I wear my Simple Socks almost every winter. Warm feet mean warm heart and body!
