My design ideas and advice: This jumper is inspired by my love of vintage patterns. My favourite era is the 1930s and 1940s. I hope this  jumper visually shows that influence but the written pattern isn’t inspired by that era! They were very vague and only had one size. I like writing simple easy to knit patterns that you can just relax with, this is true of this pattern. It doesn’t have any shaping to create the shape, it is the ribbing that shapes perfectly to your body. And it doesn’t have to be fitted, choose the right size and you can have a loose fitting one. My kind of knitting! The yarn and stitches do all the work while you sit back and relax with the knitting.
