MY DESIGN IDEAS AND ADVICE
This is the perfect “My First Fairisle Sock” pattern – a gentle step into colourwork for sock knitters. Like all my patterns, I’ve worked hard to make it as simple and clear as possible, so you can just enjoy the rhythm of the stitches without any worry. I do the hard work so you don’t have to!
I’ve kept the sample in a monotone palette, but this is a great pattern to have fun with. You could choose a different colour for each fairisle stripe, or go bold with contrast heels and toes – it’s a lovely one to make truly your own.
It’s a pattern I really enjoyed designing, and I hope you enjoy knitting it just as much.
There’s a kit available too, if you’d like everything you need in one go. Click here for more info.
