For this pattern I used:
Yarn: One or two 50g ball(s) of dk weight yarn.
This scarf takes one or two 50g balls depending on how long you want the scarf.
Metres for short version: 110m.
Metres for long version: 220m.
My Yarn Suggestions & Amounts for short version: One 50g ball of WYS Bluefaced Leicester DK – Dyed or Mohair Tweed One 50g ball
My Yarn Suggestions & Amounts for long version: WYS Bluefaced Leicester DK – Undyed or Illustrious Naturals DK One 100g hank.
Gauge (tension): 21 stitches and 32 rows to 10cm/4ins square over pattern using 4mm needles.
Measurements for short version: 9cm x approximately 90cm.
Measurements for long version: 9cm x approximately 185cm.
My design ideas and advice: This skinny scarf is perfect for any outfit and with the smallest size using just one ball of double knit yarn is great for using up any odd balls. I also love it because it is an exciting way to try out new yarns to see if you like knitting with them. Or, as I have done, for using one ball of beautiful silk or cashmere for a touch of luxury around your neck.
