For this pattern I used:
Yarn & Amounts: One 100g balls of WYS Croft Shetland Aran in shade A and shade B
Hook: 5mm.
Cushion pad to fit – I used a 30cm x 30cm pad.
Measurements: This cushion is made up of 8 squares – each square is 16cm x 16cm.
My design ideas and advice: I love the simplicity of this cushion. The gentle repeat of the double crochet and in turn these squares become a cushion….or a blanket….if you fancied crocheting more squares. They are quite addicted!
I joined the squares by crocheting them together. Wherever possible I try to join my pieces together the same way as I made them, by crocheting. So I joined these pieces together with crochet. A Youtube video will be coming soon!
