My design ideas and advice: This is a great quick and simple knit, a great project for beginners or a quick weekend project for experienced knitters who need a moment or two of pure simple stitches.
Dave the hat is perfect for everyone, I named it Dave because in the UK everyone knows someone called Dave and so everyone can wear a Dave the Hat!
