This is a course of 3 afternoon mini workshops is for those who can knit and purl but who are beginners when it comes to sock knitting.

Fiona Drake presents simple, fun and friendly classes!

In these workshops you will learn how to:

easy knit socks!

master the art of knitting on four needles,

turn a heel,

and finish the workshops with a pair of socks!

A sock pattern book (with tips for knitting the perfectly sized sock) and yarn are provided. You will need to bring along 4mm double pointed needles.

These workshops are taken over 3 Sunday Afternoons and run consecutively, so please make sure you are available for all the dates when booking onto the course.

This all day workshop (10am-4pm) is for those who can knit and purl.

With Mary Walton! You will make a lovely handmade Father Christmas and a beaded bauble using Mirasol K'acha, a beautiful fair trade yarn made of 60% Fine Merino Wool, 25% Suri Alpaca and 15% Silk.

In this workshop you will learn how to:

Magic knitting by knitting a Father Christmas,
Beaded Knitting by knitting a beaded bauble for your Christmas tree.

All materials are provided (except 4 mm knitting needles, please bring these with you) in the workshops so all you need to do is book the class and come along, no preparation needed.
